All tuition combines a love of both practical and theory-based elements to ensure students gain a thorough understanding of music notation, dynamics, rhythm and musical language.
We use top of the range weighted electronic keyboards that provide that “real piano playing feeling” to make certain students perfect touch and dynamics.
Learning experiences combine fun and enjoyment with mathematics, music games and student interaction.
We provide a positive safe encouraging learning environment that promotes self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth.
Frequently asked questions
Lesson times vary, depending on type of tuition and experience level.
Group tuition: Lesson duration: 40 minutes.
Private Tuition: Beginner and Intermediate: Lesson duration: 30 minutes.
Advanced: Lesson duration: 60 minutes.
Once students have commenced they are obligated to complete the term. No refunds or cancellations during the 10 week term will be given. (Please see terms and conditions for further details)
Affirmation School of Music, does acknowledge that unfortunately in life serious medical conditions do arise. In these rare yet serious circumstances a full refund will be given.
All “one on one” lessons are available in 30 and 60 minute sessions. All “group” lessons are available in 40 minute sessions.
Private Tuition: 30 minute lessons are suited for beginner students who are ready to take their music tuition a little more seriously. 60 minute sessions are more suited to intermediate and upper level students and for those seeking to complete grades through the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB).
Group Tuition: 40 minute lessons which are perfect for beginning students.These learning experiences promote self-esteem, self-worth and self-confidence.

Each carefully paced lesson introduces students to new elements of practical or theory based elements of piano tuition. High quality tuition, gradually exposes students to new notes enabling them to become more confident in their skills as a pianist and help improve their music reading ability.
